AI governance and runtime control

NOVA SAFEControl AI before it acts.

NOVA SAFE is NOVA’s AI governance and runtime-control product, designed to place boundaries and review at the point where AI actions can have consequences.

Why NOVA SAFE

The work behind the product.

An AI action can change data or trigger work before a later review catches the mistake. Governance is most useful at the decision point.

What it addresses

Capabilities with a clear purpose.

01

Define the authority

Give supported AI workflows clear limits on what they may access and change.

02

Keep review in the right places

Route actions that need human judgment to the appropriate reviewer.

03

Enforce the decision

Apply approved controls at integrated action points before a request proceeds.

04

Keep the record

Review decisions, approvals, and exceptions with their relevant context.

A closer look

A decision before an action.

Illustrative explanation, not product enforcement logic.

Review

An action needing human judgment pauses for the appropriate reviewer.

The boundary

Know the scope before you rely on it.

NOVA SAFE applies to supported workflows connected to its controls. It does not govern every AI action or guarantee compliance, perfect detection, or zero risk. Organizations remain accountable for their policies and decisions.

Product direction

Understand the experience.

SAFE’s public description centers on four connected responsibilities: define authority, route decisions needing human judgment, enforce the approved decision at integrated action points and retain useful records. This makes governance relevant before a change proceeds, not only after someone examines a log.

Coverage is specific to supported workflows connected to the product’s controls. An organization must understand which systems and action paths are included. A description of governance does not establish universal integration or protection of every AI action.

The product is intended to support organizational accountability, not remove it. NOVA SAFE does not guarantee compliance, perfect detection or zero risk. Policies, approvals and decisions remain the organization’s responsibility, and the target systems retain their own controls.

Questions

Useful things to ask.

What does NOVA SAFE do?

NOVA SAFE is designed to govern AI actions at the decision point: set boundaries, route sensitive decisions for review, enforce approved controls on connected workflows and retain the records needed to understand what happened.

Does it replace our security and compliance teams?

No. NOVA SAFE can support governance on workflows connected to its controls, but organizations remain responsible for policies, decisions and applicable obligations. It is not a guarantee of compliance or zero risk.

Can it govern an AI system we have not connected?

Its stated scope is supported workflows connected to its controls. The public materials do not establish protection for a system or action path that has not been integrated and qualified.

Is SAFE the same as Prime?

No. Prime focuses on understanding information and authorized work. SAFE focuses on boundaries, review, enforcement and evidence for supported AI-action paths. A shared NOVA brand does not merge their responsibilities.

Can you create a policy for me?

No. Ask NOVA cannot operate SAFE, call its product APIs or create policies. It can explain the public governance approach and help you identify what to discuss with NOVA.

Is SAFE the same as Ask NOVA?

No. Ask NOVA is this website’s read-only guide to approved public company and product information. NOVA SAFE is a separate AI governance product for boundaries, review, enforcement and evidence on supported, integrated action paths. This guide cannot operate SAFE or create its policies.
